Olivia Del Rio was born on April 16, 1969 in Brazil, in Rio Casca, and grew up in Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais. It was one of the poorest states in the Northeast of the country. She came from an extremely religious and large family. Olivia was the 12th of 16 children, and her father, who worked as a carpenter, was unable to support them all. When Olivia found out that she had breast cancer, she decided to go to Paris to get medical help. She arrived in France on April 21, 1994 with one suitcase in her hand and money, which would be enough to pay several medical bills. She also visited Denmark and Germany, and after a successful treatment, decided to stay in France instead of returning to Brazil. She started working as a hairdresser, but soon realized that her exotic appearance and beautiful body could help her to earn much more money in Europe. I decided to go into porn not for the sake of pleasure, but because I needed money. Cancer treatment cost me very dearly. As soon as I poured out the cancer, I decided to stay in Paris and act in porn movies.
